I',m unable to install Xircom modem card ( Cardbus modem 56winglobal).
I'm unable to install Xircom modem card ( Cardbus modem 56kwin-global) into VAIO. I have to copy the CD-ROm into the Harddisk as VAIO only has one type of 2 Cardbus slot. The window is not able to find the three driver files MPCC0027.vxd, MPCM0027.vxd and MPCC0027.vxd. when installing, and these 3 files are hidden files.
When you copy from the CD-ROM to harddisk, you will be asked if you want to copy the 3 hidden files. Copy them to the HDD and remember to go to file option to check the "show hidden files" box. When installing, the computer will be able to detect the three hidden files. There shouldn't be any problem after that.
