I am unable to install Xircom modem card (Xircom Cardbus Modem 56 WinGlobal).
I am unable to install Xircom Cardbus Modem 56 WinGlobal) into VAIO. Window is not able to find the three driver files MPCC0027.vxd, MPCM0027.vxd and MPCP0027.vxd during installation.
The Window is not able to find the three driver files MPCC0027.vxd, MPCM0027.vxd and MPCP0027.vxd as these 3 files are hidden files. Before copy the driver files to the harddisk, follow the steps below to enable the [Show hidden files] option :
1) Click [Start] -> [Settings] -> [Folder Options].
2) In the [Folder Options] Window, click to select [View] tab.
3) Make sure that the [Show all files] option was selected and click [OK]
Now you should be able to see the 3 hidden driver files show in the [Windows Explorer]. Copy all the neccessary driver files to harddisk and install to the computer.
