The screen brightness does not automatically adjust.

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article for details.

Check the following:

1. Make sure Auto luminance level in Ambient light sensor is turned on:
   1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select Display & Sound.
   4. Select Picture.
   5. Select Ambient light sensor.
   6. Select Auto luminance level.
2. The ambient light sensor is located near the center bottom of the screen. Make sure the sensor is not blocked by anything, such as a sound bar or the TV stand.
   Note: The brightness of the TV screen may not be changing due to reflected light. For details, check the TV instruction manual.

If you feel the screen is too bright, adjust the screen brightness from the image quality settings:

1. On the remote control, press the (Quick Settings) button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Display & Sound.
4. Select Picture.
5. Select Brightness, then adjust the setting as desired.
