How do I enable VoLTE? (Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus)

    Note! To use VoLTE, your subscription (incl. SIM card) must support VoLTE for the device model you're using. To inquire if your device, subscription and SIM card support VoLTE, contact your mobile network operator.

    To enable VoLTE

    Android™ 7.0

    1. Make sure your network subscription and SIM card support VoLTE.
    2. Find and tap Settings > More > Mobile networks.
    3. Select a SIM card that supports VoLTE.
    4. Find and tap Preferred network type > GSM/WCDMA/LTE.
    5. Drag the slider beside Enhanced 4G LTE Mode to the right. If this option isn't available, contact your network operator.



    Android™ 8.0

    1. Make sure your network subscription and SIM card support VoLTE.
    2. Find and tap Settings > More > Mobile networks.
    3. Select a SIM card that supports VoLTE.
