How do I use voice actions with my SmartWatch 3?

You can use voice commands to interact with and start actions on your SmartWatch. You can select the application that you want to use together with certain voice commands, that is, you can associate specific applications with specific voice-triggered actions. For example, you can select which map application to use for navigation-related voice actions if you have two map applications installed on your phone or tablet and they both work with Android Wear. If only one application is available for a particular type of voice action, that application gets associated by default with the action.

    Examples of voice actions

    • Call a cab
    • Take a note
    • Set alarm
    • Set timer
    • Start/stop recording a bike ride
    • Start/stop recording a run
    • Start/stop recording a workout
    • Show me my steps

Most voice actions work best when the language on the phone or tablet is set to one of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese. Some voice actions are not available in certain languages and countries.

    To activate voice actions
