Why did the captured images (extension .mpg files) from Smart Capture software cannot be playback on other VAIO computers?
Using Smart Capture software to playback the captured images on other VAIO computers.
Install Motion JPEG Decoder from the Product Recovery CD-ROM. After installing the Motion JPEG Decoder, the captured images can be playback using Microsoft Windows Media Player and other softwares.
Alternatively, Quick Time Version 4.0 or later can be installed to playback the captured images.
