How do I turn off the AutoComplete function of Internet Explorer 4.0?
The AutoComplete function of Internet Explorer 4.0 makes suggestions by completing the URL you type with the nearest match of a URL previously input into the [Address] box..
To turn off the auto-complete function, please refer to the following procedure:
--Procedure--
1) Double-click the [Internet Explorer] icon on the desktop.
2) Click [Internet Options] from the [Tools] menu.
3) Click the [Advanced] tab.
4) Clear the [Use Auto Complete] checkbox in [Browsing].
5) Click [OK].
