This symptom is due to the specification of Adobe Premiere where it is the limitation on the use of Adobe Premiere to which DVgate Plug-in is installed.
DVgate Plug-in Help includes the following description in its Limitations and Cautions section:
"When using DVgate Plug-in, the suspend function cannot be used."
