Why can't I hear a difference between Binaural and Stereo modes with the ECM-AX10 microphone?

Binaural mode creates a sense of direction and space when the recording is played back through headphones. The effect may vary from person to person, and depending on the content, it may be hard to tell the difference from Stereo mode.

    Hints:

    • Binaural: A spatial audio recording mode with omnidirectional directivity (captures sound from all directions), suitable for headphone listening
    • Stereo: A standard audio recording mode that captures sound from the front left and front right
