Yes. For example, you can record video and audio using your smartphone’s camera app or record audio with its built-in voice recorder app. However, we recommend using the Spatial Audio Video Tool app.
If you're using apps other than the Spatial Audio Video Tool app:
- In SPATIAL mode, audio is recorded only in Binaural.

Before connecting the microphone to your smartphone, set the microphone’s MODE switch to STEREO. After connecting, you can switch it to SPATIAL. - Do not run the Spatial Audio Video Tool app and another video or audio recording app at the same time.
