“For me, the moment that really kind of changed my career was I had just left my position with the local newspaper, was freelancing full time and pitched and had a story accepted by a large international newspaper to follow a mixed martial arts athlete for four months through this training camp.”

“It has been decades of challenges. you take every small win as a win and and keep trying to progress forward. I have so many experiences and so many stories that I would not have been able to see without having a camera in my hand, it's truly opened doors, for me to be in some of the biggest places in the world.”
