I have had these for 5 months and they are brilliant with the app i tweaked the EQ ever so slightly to my liking. The sound is insane on the level of detail you can hear every note especially using LDAC. Passthrough mode works flawlessly i can talk to people aroind with like im not wearing the headphones even with playing music that only i can hear. The oppersit in noisecancelling is incredible cant hear a thing around me from a tap of the ear bud. Both of which can be adjusted in the app to your liking for more or less noise supression or pass through. Call quality is nuts due to the quality sound supression the person on the other end can hear me crystal clear with no background noise even on a very windy day. I even wore them all day from morning when i woke up to before i went to bed. All day comfort and long battery life.

great earpods, do the job. never had any before but sony is good quality so wanted to get them

I bought it, two weeks ago, and I love it, especially with the noise cancelation. This is the first time I'm buying headphones with noise cancelation, so I can't compared it with others, but they are great, I'm enjoying it for the moment.

These were a birthday present back in July 2023 and initially very happy with them, and then a couple of weeks ago the left hand bud stopped working properly. Contacted Sony who's customer service was awful and very unhelpful. It was only when I showed the retailer the response from Sony that they took it upon themselves to replace them free of charge (Well done John Lewis!). I would seriously think twice about buying any Sony tech again.

Bought in Jan 2023, batteries very died. Within months. Waited to back John Lewis, sent to repair after repair still a problem. Feel Ears getting cooked.

I had these for over a year now and I love them, I think there real easy to use comfortable to ware and also the sony app is great to adjust to the and set up the ear buds to ur needs would recommend

These are good earbuds - comfortable. The Noise cancelling is reasonably good and if used with app changes with activity/location. Easy to set up. The touch control is good and they have a long battery life (shorter with noise cancelling). The sound quality is good but not outstanding - you can adjust with the app and equaliser..

More often than not the ear buds need to be returned to their case a couple of times before they connect Once connected they work well switching between an iPhone and a Windows 11 laptop for Teams calls.

Best buds I've owned. Superb sound, great comfortable fit. Easier to use these than expensive B&W headphones without any drop in quality.

Bought just over a month ago and am having issues with the sound in one ear (a seemingly common issue). I am trying to book a repair, but cannot enter valid model number. The drop down menu doesn't work and the model number from the Booklet isn't recognised. Feeling a bit scammed by Sony right now.

Had a lot of ear buds before both of the Cambridge ones tevi z3 These are the most comfy and lightweight don’t no they are in most of the time anc brilliant and the sound quality is brilliant definitely infount of the Cambridge audio

I bought these particularly on the basis of the advertised battery life being up to 20 hours. This is incredibly misleading because having tried three pairs, the maximum battery life was between six and 6 1/2 hours, which is just not good enough.

I got these when my running earphones broke. Everything about them is excellent other than they don’t stay in my ears when running. I tried all the Bud sizes but nothing would work. Returned to the shop I got them for a refund.

It's only a month but they are great. Very light and comfortable, they stay in the ears and the sound is exelent for the price. LDAC and DSEE are a bonus.

I’ve only had them a couple of weeks but so far I’m very impressed with these earbuds. They’re super lightweight and pretty comfortable, as long as you don’t push them too far into your ears trying to make the perfect noise-cancelling seal, which I’ve done a couple of times. It can be a bit frustrating trying to get the seal just right, but it’s generally straightforward. Sound quality is excellent, if not in the same league as my over-ear WH1000XM3, but I don’t expect them to be for half the price. Bass is decent but not brilliant. The battery life is plenty for my usage (commuting and gym), only needing to recharge the case once in 2 weeks. The buds and the case are so small and light that they are incredibly portable, exactly what I need to be able to put in my pocket and forget about them until they’re needed. Very impressed.

Good earphones, sound, fit etc all good. But they are ruined by the app and support. It is outdated and barely works.

I struggle to get any to fit me. These are getting close (I’ve got strange shaped canals) so that’s a bonus. Once in place, sound good.

I bought these just shy of 2 months ago and they have been the best earbuds I have used. I have had so much trouble with earbuds due to having really small ears. Even with the smallest earbud attachment they are more often than not still too big for my ears. The earbuds themselves are often too big and stick out my ears really far too. I saw these online and with them being extremely light and having the extra small earbud attachment I thought they would be worth trying. I was not disappointed at all! The extra small attachment is a perfect fit, the buds themselves are very light and not bulky at all. The sound quality is fantastic, lots of settings to change the bass/treble ect to have it the way its suits you. Crisp clear sound. The noise cancelling is brilliant. I use these at nighttime as my husband snores ridiculously loud and these block out most of it, which I'm so happy about. I can hear my podcasts and videos perfectly. The battery life could be a bit better but I know when making them so light some things have to be compromised. They still last at least 5 hours though. All in all these are amazing and I couldn't recommend them enough. What you get for the price is fantastic.

I got this a few weeks ago and have been using them mainly for travel, the notice cancellation is good for trains and busses if you don't enjoy the background noises. I did find that voices would still get through if you just have NC on and nothing playing. The fit is nice and secure and the audio quality is good for the price, the only downside I have is the controls, they're not really intuitive and not customisable, you have to have both headphones in for them to work properly and when taking them in and out or adjusting them you can accidentally press a button.

Its early days but so far so good. Rather expensive taken me quite some time to bring myself to buy them but I think they're worth it for the comfort. I dont know about noise canceling yet, going to see how I get on with it on my holiday flight.

I bought these to replace the Google Pixel Pro headphones I had and I'm annoyed I didn't buy these sooner! Not only are they a lot cheaper but they're so much lighter, fit in my ears better, have louder volume allowance (sometimes I really do just want to drown the world out lol) and the noise cancellation is super - I can just sit with the headphones in without music playing and it drastically reduces the surrounding sounds, making things feels so much calmer. Added bonus is they're a nice colour too (Earth Blue). Would definitely recommend!

Bought these as a replacement for the xm4 earbuds which stupidly i lost,but these are are better,for me,smaller,lighter,and just superb quality,i got the blue ones,and the look great.

Had these for a couple of months now and find the size fits really nicely. The sound quality is pretty good but I found it did need the EQ needed a little tweek to give them a little more treble but apart from that they have been great

I bought this on holiday on the Marella cruise shop, toss up on getting the wf-1000xm4 at the time as already had the previous model. Need some adjustments on the treble but overall these are an understated model for those that appreciate quality sound but want value for money.

Using LinkBuds S for week and they surprised me with a great sound and bunch of useful features. They are extremely comfortable, despite small sized, not single dropout even on very active movements. Highly recommend these tws buds!!

I was gifted this earbud two weeks ago and, I have been using it every day now. Normally, they tend to fall out of my ears fast but this one's a snug fit. The audio quality is great and the noise cancellation is pretty good. Now for the cons: I don't like the fact that the controls are not completely customizable. You have to choose between noise cancellation, volume, and playback and cannot mix them up even though there are enough controls available. Another issue that I encountered when using them with my laptop is that it keeps pausing the video I am watching.

These were bought as a birthday present after I left a few hints as to what I wanted. I didn't have a choice over which ones but these far exceed my expectations. I really love the way they fit in my ears and the sound quality is excellent. I found setting them up a little tricky and I'm not sure I understand all the options or tapping choices. I am overwhelmed by the noise cancelling, cars just swish past with hardly any noise.

Have been using the LinkBuds S for more than 2 weeks now and I am highly satisfied. They are comfortable, noise cancellation is great and they work for phone calls better than my previous headphones! I love how small the case is and how it doesnt seem to effect the battery life. All in all great purchase!

I bought these about 3 months ago and they were great really useful with great audio quality but one day the right ear made this incredibly painful screeching noice and popped and since then I've been able to hear what sounds like a wind noise and a thumping in the right earbud which is incredibly distracting not to mention painful. I am truly disappointed

Having had cheaper bud previously, the extra features with this model are great. Being 89 years old phoning has been a problem with the Linkbuds S now problem solved.

I haven’t had these long enough yet to truly try them out in different environments, but for playing music and answering/talking on calls they fit their purpose. I’m a bit apprehensive to use them out walking as they really do cancel out any other noise - this might be a big positive for others, but I personally like to hear background noise - cars going past/someone speaking - just from a safety point of view. I prefer this feature when I’m stationary somewhere. Love the compact case! I wish I would have chosen the blue, but the black are good.

These are a good headphone. They definitely cancel out the noise, so if you want that then these are perfect for that. When I use my other earphones I can still hear if someone talks to me or a car drives past, with these - nothing! The tap touch is good but a bit too sensitive for the three tap which is still hit and miss whether it picks up on it. The case is compact and love the colour options. I prefer an earphone that doesn’t have the jelly ear part, but multiple sizes are provided to select the best personal fit.

I've tried a few in-ear noise cancelling headphones by a range of leading manufacturers, including Sony – and these are the absolute best. The sound is excellent in bass, mid and high end and noise cancelling is best in class. These are far better than their bigger, more expensive brother and very comfortable for hours of use.

This headset is the real flagship Sony wireless hi fi streaming device. The wf 1000xm4 I returned as 1 so uncomfortable in the ear after 10 minutes use and 2 the major fault of battery drain in the right channel. Sony should withdraw them and list these linkBuds S as the real flagship ind in leading Bluetooth phones. My only observation is change the LDAC codec to AAC ...as the former drains the battery in 3.5 hours. AAC or SCB.. turn off ANC if not needed and DSEE....as it doesn't affect the sound quality... and the headset will last for 7 hours. But these are the true flagship Sony phones Don't bother buying the WF 1000xm4...you will be disappointed.

After trying out previous wireless earbuds from Sony, I've been pleased with the audio quality and noise cancelling provided but had issues with the shape and fit in the ear. The linkbuds s are a perfect fit in my ears, as well as providing amazing sound, matching my previous xm3s and nearly matching my xm4s. Would definitely recommend.

It's a very nice linkbud with great functionality.

I absolutely love these headphones! The sound quality is brilliant and the buds stay in your ears. The battery life is also great and I don't have to charge them often. I really like that you can download an app to personalise the features when you tap the buds (change volume, skip track etc)

I listen to music everyday and often on the move on the train. I have been using these Ear buds for about 2 weeks now and they deliver great sound. Vocals are nice and crisp and there is good bass. They look good and came well packaged. Charging time is good and pretty fast. Comparing them to my old wireless headphones these last a lot longer. They were very easy to setup and pair to my iPhone. I did not have any issues and I was listening to music very quickly from the moment I got them out the box. Very happy with them.

These are a great pair of earphones, they sound great and the bass is very good. The active noise cancelling is also really good. There are a lot of features which I personally don't use, however these features could be helpful to the right person. The one small downfall is that I can use the right earbud on its own, or both. My previous earphones were able to use either or both. These are a great product, very lightweight and easy to use. They are very comfortable and fit nicely in my ear.

Great earbuds, automatically switch on when putting in ears and when I took them to Glastonbury Festival and needed to sleep, the noise cancelling worked a treat!

I got this product a couple weeks ago and it has changed the way I use earphones. They are way better than my previous ones. One of my favourite features is the ambient sound control.

Great to take everywhere and has good sound. The Bluetooth connection is stable and you have different colours.

Great product , order process was a little difficult, however, the issue was sorted via sony support. Quick response and feedback from sony support . Highly recommend buying from sony

I bought the linkbuds a month ago and loved the overall experience. Especially impressed with its packaging, matt black coating, and the ambient sound quality.

I love the design of these ear buds and the noise cancelling function is great and I would say are better than the AirPods. However there are two issues I found with the Sony buds. Even though I used the app to check the fit they keep falling out; if I am mid call, touching the buds to readjust causes the call to end. I can therefore only use if sat down. Not too pleased with this as it defeats the purpose.

Please note that I was provided with these for free for review by UNiDAYS. Sound and ease of use get top marks, for the most part. Nice rich sounds with a pleasant tone. The noise cancelling works well, by there is too much ambient wind noise when running- the solution it to turn off/down the ambient sounds but this leaves you at a greater risk running near/on roads. I like the touch controls, though they are the right level of sensitive and not over complex. Comfortable and secure in the ear (mine are medium to large). The stick out at an odd angle from my partner’s small ears and don’t look great on her. Battery is great and charging quick and very straightforward. They compare very favourably with similar price range earbuds I have used. I would recommend them.

I purchased the Sony LinkBuds S as my Sony WH-CH710N Noise Cancelling Wireless Bluetooth NFC Over-Ear Headphones had issues with the cheap design of the headband. I was concerned about these headphones failing or falling apart. The LinkBuds S seem to be better made than the WH-CH710N.

Great sound, lightweight, comfortable, great features. Better than the sennheiser momentum 2’s they’ve replaced! In my opinion.

The Sony Linkbuds S wireless noise cancelling ear buds are a great size, fit really well (with a choice of ear insert sizes) and are always secure either out and about or in the gym. Battery life is ideal for listening to my favourite sings when pottering in the garden or even at work when doing some online training. The noise-cancelling works well keeping wind noise down when making and receiving phone calls. They are water resistant but that isn’t a concern for me as when it rains I have my hood up to keep the rain out, or use an umbrella. They come with a nice charging case and in a choice of colours which is I think is better than ordinary black or white – I’ve chosen the eco-friendly pair in an 'Earth Blue' finish that is made from recycled water dispenser bottles. It was very straight forward connecting them to my android mobile and it’s great being able to control them by tapping the outside, which I’m just getting used to. I have installed the Sony Headphones Connect app on my mobile which I think everyone should do as it lets you see the charge for each earbud and the charging case plus it’s the only way to get updates for the device. I just hope people don’t mind me dancing and singing down the shopping aisles whilst listening to my favourite songs but they might complain at my singing!! A great choice for earbuds.

Had them a month now and although the sound quality is really good they very easily work their way out of my ears, often falling completely out. Have tried the different size silicones that come with them but it makes no difference. Also, when pushing them back in it thinks I'm doing a "tap once" and pauses the music. Very frustrating.

Bought these as I wanted a pair of ear buds that could be conected to my work laptop and phone at the same time do the job perfectly, the only niggle is that when doing a call there's no playback of my own voice so I can't tell how loud I'm being.

I recently purchased the LinkBuds S for everyday use. For the first couple of days it was okay, but I quickly noticed several issues (this is within 8 days of purchase). 1. Occasionally the left earbud would cut off for a few seconds. This issue would happen a few times a day, and got progressively more severe as I used them. 2. The ANC got progressively more static-y, to the point where music was drowned out by the noise. It started at a normal ANC level, and progressed to unacceptable levels. 3. (and my main problem) The headphones would randomly create an extremely high pitched ring in either bud. This progressed to whenever ANC was on (this would reset when the buds were placed in the case, but randomly start again). It was a genuinely painful noise. I'm someone who is more susceptible to hearing loss than others, so this was a genuine concern while using them. I contacted customer support and was asked to send off my product for repairs (the earbuds I had owned for 8 days total). There was no acknowledgement to the fact that the device was faulty. Considering that repairs could have taken up to 2 weeks, (and put me dangerously close to my return deadline) I opted to just return them. The headphones themselves (without the defects) are okay, but I have found better elsewhere. The app is useful, has simple but helpful controls. The touch controls are fairly limited, especially since the left bud only controls ANC. The audio quality is decent. The earbud fit is very specific, so if the buds don't fit you, tough luck. They slipped out rather easily for me, after trying all the available tips. The case is okay, the texture is quite nice, but the hinge feels a bit flimsy. They charge fast however. Overall, if you don't mind risking a defective product that you might have to send away for repairs, it's an okay product in that regard. That being said, there are definitely better products on the market, so it might be worth looking around. Personally I wouldn't recommend this product due to my overall experience.

Small and light. Good sound quality. Maybe microfone a little quiet for others. Sometimes struggling with fitting bit all in all happy with the product.

I am not happy with these earbuds. They say you can control volume, start/stop, and noise-cancelling mode from the buds - and that is true, but only two of those functions at a time. There is no option to have all three functions active at once, because of the weird way Sony "groups" the ear-bud controls together - I don't need commands they force you to add in with the noise cancelling control, like start spotify or some other app I never use, but there is no way to e.g. replace the function of those commands with volume up and down. So half the commands are taken up by functions I don't need, but I can't replace them with the functions I DO need. You can only swap in and out 'groups' of functions - and volume up/down, noise cancelling on/off, and start/stop controls are in 3 different 'groups' - so you have to choose between two of those functions (plus all the extra ones in each group, even if you don't want those extra functions). If Sony fixed this I would like the buds a lot. As it is I can't operate them without physically getting my phone out, which is useless. A wasted purchase. It's also really annoying that if you select start/stop to be available on one earbud, you can't disable the track forward/backward function that sits in the same group. I don't know how many times I ended up forwarding multiple tracks when I put the buds into or out of my ear - which when you listen to podcasts is incredibly annoying because of how hard it then is to find your place again...

Sound quality is outstanding and they’re the first in ear headphones that can’t be heard by others.

I bought this a few months ago and I have been very happy using this product. The noise cancellation works very well. The only drawback that I found, was registering new devices when there are already two device registered, this function could be made simpler. But switching between the two already registered devices is great, which cannot be said for some of the more expensive ear pods out there.
