I bought this TV several months ago now. I am still very happy with it. Picture quality and sound are excellent.

First new TV for well over a decade. This replaces a Plasma version. Picture quality is fantastic, especially when receiving 4k quality material. I operate the TV together with a full 5.1 surround sound system. The narrow bezel looks good (in that you can barely see it) but means that the centre speaker can no longer sit just in front of the screen as it used to. I was pleased to discover that the tv speakers (essentially the screen) can be used as the middle speaker. So far this works well. perhaps not quite as good as the original mid speaker but certainly fine while I decide what needs doing, if anything. I had various devices attached to the old set to enable a degree of "smartness" and while there are some apps that Sonly do not seem to support the main ones (including for me Berlin Phil and Nat Theatre at Home) are there. It is all so much easier to operate than the old multi component system. I can control the sound system and the Blu-ray just with the tv remote (with just a few rarely used options being the exception). These are both Sony models note. Even works as as a monitor for Roon (a totally unexpected but by no means a deal breaking bonus).

Bought,,bit expensive for what we want but nice tv

My TV arrived as replacement to a broken inferior model and what an amazing gift this was! I love it so much, makes watching it such great experience. I also love the stand as it makes it very stable. Super recommended. Sony service is also so amazing.

The TV was installed nearly two weeks ago. It replaced a 4 year old TV from a different manufacturer which had developed problems. So far we are very pleased with the new TV. The picture is very clear & the sound through the screen is far better than I had hoped. I would highly recommend this TV based on my experience.

Stunning QD OLED picture, body design, sound, accessories (TV remotes one of which lights up at night/installable camera), stand (which can be fixed in two different positions). Comes with in-built mic and gesture control. Nice UI which also allows Google TV to be added - user friendly/intuitive, screen saver called Living Decor, many custom settings available, access to Bravia Core. Faultless and sophisticated - really perfect especially for home cinema lovers (55 inch version).

I brought my tv for a while now and it's colour are lovely tone of skin colour is bang on the detail is amazing remote for tv is amazing it lights up wow and the tv is best tv i ever had full stop

I’ve have not had this not more than week and I am not overly blown away. First there’s not enough 4K HDMI ports. Still trying to work out all the features which isn’t easy. I’m sure I’ll find more faults.

Great TV, great Pictures, easy to Order and have delivered!

Purchased from my local John Lewis store a couple of weeks ago. Quite a step up in quality from my old Bravia set (6 years old) I went for the best I could afford and this was my choice. Initial impressions of both picture and sound are excellent. The features and number of available apps, both free and subscription based are more than plentiful. However there are a couple of slight niggles I have. Being an older non tech guy, I find setting up to my liking and finding my way around the menus, is a fairly lengthy process of trial and error. This is where in my opinion a fully printed user manual should come with the set. Only a short abbreviated one plus a start up guide is supplied. Minor niggles I know to some. However there are helpful online guides from Sony and of course it does learn one to find their way around and learn the multi features of this particular TV set. If you are looking for a tv in this price range particularly with the discounts now being offered, you will not be disappointed.

This is first Sony Oled I’ve bought so it has been taking some searching for settings etc because of unfamiliarity. The online guide is of some help but could be improved with some more details and explanations. This set has some great functionality which allows settings to get an excellent picture and choice of audio to AV Receiver, which is my preferred route. I listened to the audio direct from the TV set and was impressed - it was very good for a flat screen. The flexibility of being able to connect the audio output as a centre speaker is a very nice feature. I do not use this as I have a central speaker in my AVR set up. May try this feature more once I have become more familiar and if it improves clarity in vocals in programmes. However this is unlikely because the current programming trend is for actors to mumble! The tv has nice clean lines whilst sitting on the provided stand when the stand is to the rear. This also allows a PS5 to be positioned at the rear and sit on the stand. The video and sound capabilities have been excellent in real use. There are two remote controllers provided, one of which has a backlit capability which can be very useful in a dark room. This same remote has voice function too which I have used to switch external inputs but sometimes find Google gets in the way, possibly I have not used correct word instruction. All in all I would highly recommend that the Sony XR65A95K be considered when looking for a new TV.

I wasn’t sure I needed this in my life but after half an hour of watching it I can confirm I definitely did! It really is hard to explain. As you have to see it to believe it….the picture and sound quality are exceptional and create a whole different experience to watching tv. Very pleased with the investment!

I am really happy with the quality of this tv. Only downside is the stand. I cannot think what Sony were thinking of with the design of this stand. Bought a replacement stand which suits the tv much better.

Our previous tv was a Sony Bravia which we were very happy with. When we moved home we had no hesitation in upgrading to a more superior Bravia , which we are absolutely delighted with. Picture quality, sound and features absolutely stunning

Excellent sound tv sound amazing I was only ever going to buy sony it's comes with FREEVIEW/ FREESAT. great picture loads off apps tv reminder love the lit up control at night. Don't see why 2 remote controls can't pause tv with HDD. only record. Love the hand gesture with sony camera. Great tv guide. I'm really happy with purchase and would buy sony again.

Great TV for movies, Sport and playing PS5 - all the different modes are beautiful.

I’ve purchased this TV in November 2022. After owning the set for 8 months the screen failed for no apparent reason. I would have hoped that having purchased a TV for more than £2,000.00 it would have lasted longer than this. Not a good advert for Sony!!

With just a few minor image setting tweeks, this is by far the most accurate TV I have ever seen. When considering other options before making my purchase, a lot of reviews spoke of TV brightness and other brands were said to be brighter. Whether watching through the day or night, I have the brightness turned down well below its potential and have found this gives the perfect image for my viewing pleasure. Watching 4K content has never been more enjoyable. The calibrated image settings for Netflix and IMAX calibration mode for Amazon work amazingly. I like the set up of the apps and home screen and generally it's a really easy TV to operate and set up. The only reason I give 4* is because I had a pixel issue in just one tiny part of the screen after just 8 months and getting through to customer service wasn't a great experience

I purchased this screen recently and the picture is absolutely crystal clear and very sharp. I subscribed to UHD from sky and the picture is incredibly sharp on this screen. Definitely worth buying this model.The remote control is very user friendly.

I have always had Sony TVs since i could afford to buy them! The picture quality for Gaming and for UHD as well and sound settings blow my previous model out the water! Absolutely love this TV! Even the remote feels and looks great! Plus it lights up!!!

Superb picture quality. Excellent build. Looks amazing on the wall. The sony 65A95K is like fine wine that gets better with each usage hours. The upscaling is axing. Watched a Burna Boy Concert on Apple TV, I was blown away with the colour, amazing breathtaking image qaulity.

I purchased this tv as I did my research on two other tv at the same specifications I know the price of the other tvs I looked at was cheaper but shop I looked in at these TVs they where all together I ask the sales person to put them on the same channel and went through them at the same time picture quality was outstanding compared to the other two TVs sound was brilliant with out a sound bar as the other two was in my opinion needed the sound bar to match the Sony all in all that’s why Sony took preference as I would have have to pay for a sound bar which then brought the price in the range but I was getting better quality pictures and for gaming quality brilliant Would definitely recommend this tv if you are buying a tv Trust me you won’t be disappointed

I paid a visit to Bakers Television & Electrical LTD (Euronics) a local dealer local to me and not a main line competitor, in view of purchasing a new Television as my old television after 13 years had numerous faults. After checking out the New Sony Bravia A95K XR 4K Television I haven’t looked back it was a good choice, and supported by the two engineers who installed it on the wall,replacing the old one. After setting it all up for me I was amazed how technology has moved on with brilliant sharp quality images. I would recommend this television along with its 5 year warranty. Well done Sony.

Bought from Richer sounds for a 6 year guarantee after my LG oled blew switching on and off at the mains. 5 years and 6 months old and when I phoned LG they sent me a link to the yellow pages! Never again. So the new TV came over and I mounted on the wall. First of all - unbelievably easy menus and remotes- my wife can operate easily - couldn’t do the LG one. Secondly all the smart apps for all the big streaming services easily available. Finally picture- it’s subtly better than the LG watching in isolation but watching some scenes the reds are magnificent without being over saturated. The motion is silky smooth and just an absolute pleasure to watch a film on. I think this is probably one of the best 55 inch TV’s on the market right now. Not cheap but just superb viewing. And as it’s becoming an older model there are some deals out there.

I bought a TV 3 weeks ago with an extra 5 year warranty! The picture is good, the quality of the materials used is also good.

Spending nearly 3k Ona tv we expected something a bit upmarket. Sadly it doesn’t out perform any of our other older amd much cheaper tvs. Definitely not worth the money

Amazing picture quality and great sound, so many setup options but once up and running, all good. Our previous Sony 40" was still working perfectly and nearly 15 years old. Very pleased although quite expensive.

Motion blur issue ,latest Nvidia graphics cards comparability issues. Software freeze screen goes blank, my 2016 flagship was far better in performance until unit died 7 years in this was I was hoping my replacement what a mistake at this premium price I expected more no picture in picture boring game bar froze several times left me scared. I now insearch of the perfect replacement.

The picture is absolutely stunning, especially in UHD/HDR. I'm less convinced about the sound - this is supposedly one of the TVs with the best built-in sound, and that might well be true, but a decent external sound system would be a clear improvement. The supplied stand is great if you have a long flat surface - I didn't so I bought a conventional pedestal stand. The software is generally easy to use and fast. The slim remote (you get two) is great. The worst thing about the TV in my opinion is the inclusion of YouView, which I find clunky. You can disable it but there are gotchas if you do.

Replacement for 2 year old sony master and what a difference this set is .

I think is the best Tv ever made, the OS is perfect and snappy , the colours are stunning and I wish our eyes could convert pictures like that. The world is simply better on this tv. Some say "it's expensive ", but you get what you pay for. The only down side? The coat in the screen, should have some sort of warning about touching it...once you touch it , the smeer stay and remain.

I bought the bravia 65" A95K after all the reviewing and researching i had done. It is the perfect tv. The screen quality is perfect for high quality images. The best ive ever seen. I predominantly use it for sports (football f1) but movies is where it is excellent. Rich colours and the blackest blacks! So many different settings and customisation. A little expensive. However it it a tv i will throughly enjoy for many years!

Color reproduction is awesome. Picture presets look great. Once connected to a soundbar, sound quality gets better, even when TV is set as center speaker. Never observed out-of-sync issues between sound and picture. The screen is quite bright. Haven't noticed any decernable effects for Bravia Cam's auto audio adjustments. The quick settings menu is handy. The default Android TV interface is clean and easy to use. Google TV adds too many ads and suggestions all over. It gets hard to find the thing one is looking for. I use it in App only mode. I would rather not use google TV and use just the Android TV interface. There should be an option for that. Picture quality is great. Sound quality not so much. In-built speakers are just fine. Sony should rather not put speakers in TV and sell a bundled sound bar. The features like Acoustic surface Audio+ give clear sound but bass is entirely missing. For a TV at this price I would expect at-least two things to match the price tag, picture and sound. Software is slow. Media Player seems to have a bug, since it takes hours to show complete list of files on connected hdd. VLC reads the same in seconds. There's lag between remote button clicks and menu updates. When I open Sound Settings menu, the sound bar settings menu opens up in background. Could be a software bug. The TV stand is ugly.

I purchased the TV two weeks ago - very impressed with the Bravia XR TV - picture and sound - love the feel of the remote and the voice control function. We have watched a couple of films since installling the TV and were very impressed with the scree nquality and sound. BBC 1 East Midlands is still the worst picture on HD.

Wow is all I can say! Amazing picture quality, the colours on the TV just pop! So glad we bought this TV. We were looking at another manufacture (named nameless) but the Sony sales guy in John Lewis, was very fair and was not biased towards Sony TV but showed us the differences and the reasons to purchase the Sony A95K. Forgot to say, it was so easy to setup!

Really love this TV. My first Sony and I think I’m a convert. The picture is obviously ridiculously good but the general design of the tv is wonderful as are the functionality and customisation of the menus / interfaces. Per the title, I had some initial teething problems with controlling the TV with my Logitech Harmony remote. I fixed this, after some experimenting, by enabling all CEC options and using this in conjunction with the Harmony and my accessories (AV receiver, etc.).

Have been using this set for nearly a month, and delighted with it.

Disappointing when there are night scenes as it is difficult to make anything out. Otherwise okay but not exceptional

Crystal clear Picture easy set up and fantasctic sound

Such an amazing picture with super vibrant colours and deep deep blacks. The calibrated settings are very good especially the Netflix mode.

I just bought this tv two weeks ago. It cost me £2999. However, the display shows half the area only in 65" tv, which is unfair for the expensive product. We want your team to allow us to edit the display to make the zoom as per our needs. Can you please do this in your next firmware update?

I normally only buy flagship TV's and having had the AF9 and AG9 understood what Sony has to offer. The A95K QD-OLED takes everything to the next level. The panel is bright and uniform and the images are breathtaking. Impressive. I have had many flagship TV's over the years from other brands. The A95K is the best TV there has ever been. It is a phenomenal set, a design piece and a statement.

Stunning television with superb picture and sound which is everything I hoped for and matches the independent technical reviews I'd read. Set-up not as easy as claimed and the lack of a printed operating manual is disappointing. Another gripe is the difficulty in finding the correct ports for connecting external devices - the HDMI slots at the back of the tv have been concealed so a neat cover can be applied once connections have been made. Establishing connection with a network for wifi was easy, and all other functions in an extensive set-up were intuitive. Although the sound quality of the tv is good, the addition of a sound bar (I bought Sony's HT-A7000) is essential for true surround sound and richness of tone. Overall, a fantastic tv brimming with features and style.

Can’t fault the picture or sound. Very happy with the screen. Sadly the stand stops me giving this tv a perfect 5. To have the tv upright the screen has to be in front of the tv. Looks horrible. And a pain when like me you use a soundbar on the tv unit. Had to raise the tv. Having the stand at the rear forces the tv to lean at an angle. Who on earth wants a tv at an angle?!!! Watching true 4K content or using a PS5 is simply stunning and you soon forget about the silly stand….

We have had this telly now for about 3 weeks and am still discovering new features, of which there are so many. There are no negatives yet, and unlikely to be any, as both the picture and sound quality are out of this world for such a thin unit. We do have a complete AV 7 channel set up but tried the TV sound just to hear what it sounded like on its own - pretty impressive.

I originally wanted a 75" tv but my partner convinced me to spend the money on picture quality rather than size and I am now glad I did. I enjoy viewing this 65" tv and have been really impressed with the upscaling capabilities (SD is ok, but HD really does shine). Very happy with my purchase. I haven't used my soundbar since I bought this tv, since the inbuilt tv sound is really quite impressive.

Disappointed that after 5 months a white line appeared top to bottom on the right handside of the screen - today it was replaced - BUT the Sony Bravia Cam is not recognised by the TV - so I've had to log another warranty call with John Lewis - VERY poor for such an expensive brand

I enjoy watching a good Horror movie. So many Oled televisions really struggle with the dark scenes used in so many horror movies. They really struggle coming out of black and through grey. This model handle them as perfectly as the daylight scenes. Mixed with the perfect colours this television is impossible to fault.

Fantastic TV but does not have backward bluetooth or a headphone jack or scart so have had to update everything. can no even connect my iPhone 12 because you need bluetooth 5. It would have been nice to have been made aware before we tried to connect me devices. Even the retailer who sold it to us did not know of this.

I love this TV, it's easy to use and the picture and sound are incredible.

We bought our Sony Bravia TV A95K 2 weeks ago and we are very pleased with it.

Still getting used to its functionality as my last tv was faulty and over 10 years old. Picture is lovely and the sole reason for paying this much for a tv.

Love this Sony Bravia XR55A95KU QD-OLED TV, it's beautiful. The colour, sound, navigation tools and sleek remote control are gorgeous. However, what were Sony designers thinking regarding the stand?!! I can't put my Sony Soundbar or any other regular size Soundbar in front of the TV without blocking the picture! Please bring back the old stand or equivalent and notify us the buyers who want one. Not everyone wants to put their TV on the wall!

Expensive, but definitely worth every penny. 10 day review: 👍 FOR: Superb for terrestrial TV and cable. Not tried PS5 yet as we are still blown away watching movies and box sets. Out of the box Images are sublime, especially from 4k input (UHD player & cable). Sound is immersive with vocals & sfx outputted through the screen with pinpoint precision. This Sony TV is a major step up replacement for our 6 year old screen burned LG oled. Looking forward to adding surround sound system. 👎 AGAINST: Turns you into couch potato telly addict Summary Just buy it 😍. Bought in-store from Richer Sounds
