So far so good, brilliant picture and amazing sound, that good I haven't put the sound bar back with this New Sony, does not need it. Easy set up and really pleased all round. Great job Sony.

Have not reported this failure to either the vendor or sony (only a minor annoyance),but have lost thr input on HMD1.Survivng with other three.Hopefully this is not a a warning of future problems.Apart from that all good.

This product doesn't have a channel 4 app for some reason. Have to watch using a web browser app. The voice search also doesn't search apps like itvx, only pure streaming apps.

The whole system froze a few times since I purchased. The tv screen quality has never given me the jaw dropping effect. Doesnt really worth the money.

I always buy Japanese products with my eyes closed… Sony Tv…. It's truly great television. number 10 …. I can easily recommend it to everyone...

All was well for the first eight months but I now have a problem with one of the HDMI input ports that seems to be a problem with the staff knowing what to do about it ! Still waiting for a decision on what will happen next ! Would be nice to have a decision and have the TV repaired asap so I can continue using my purchase . Opinion on this Sony Product has been reserved until we know the outcome of the repair situation.

Picture quality is good but have seen better. Removal of the sony badge now left with two holes why?

This tv makes a buzzing sound from something inside, the buzzing changes pitch as the screen gets lighter or darker. Had the TV replaced on sony warranty but the new one had the exact same issue from day one. The tv would be great if there wasn't a manufacturing problem. Couldn't recommend this tv. Stay away from Sony tvs they are rubbish now, so disappointed, sony used to mean something.

We are so happy with the picture on this Sony television.

Moving from a older LED to an OLED screen was an amazing difference. The XR-55A80K has complete blacks no more gray screen, but the biggest revelation were the detailed colours and whites. Sports viewing is just astonishing now with previously smeared details now crisp and sharp.

Bought as a clearance item from a well known retailer, this was a massive upgrade for me. I have experienced many problems with the TV from vertical lines to colours flashing up that fill up the whole screen. As an experienced TV consumer over many years it has been a real fight to get this looked at and even just acknowledged. I was hoping much better from Sony who have such great quality products purchased over many, many years.

I have a 65 inch so I bought a 77 inch for another room. Brilliant TVs and wouldn't be without

The Sony XR-65A84K has the best picture quality I've ever seen and the sound is incredible too. I bought the Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, to go with this TV, for watching movies at night so that I don't disturb my neighbour. This combination of TV & Headphones is the best movie experience I've ever had, well done Sony.

Great picture and good sound. However, compared to a 2020 Samsung TV it has a few limitations with the PVR feature when using the USB HDD. On the Samsung we can pause live TV, rewind live TV and record multiple channels. With the Sony with Google TV this not possible, Only 1 Channel can be recoded at a time and facility to pause. As we are used to these features this feels like a backward step. A further issue is the lack of BRAVIA Core. Despite contracting Sony Support and number of times over the past 3 weeks they have still not been able to provide the free films and live-streaming that's promised with the new TV.

I bought it a month ago and couldn't be happier. The OLED panel is so simply astonishing to look at.

Got a 55 inch JVC after buying a Panasonic viera the same size. Both used to look good.......then I got a rebate and had a couple of grand kicking about so I decide to buy myself a new TV. Saw the smaller version of the one I now own, sitting in a huge display in John Lewis. I nearly bought it there and then. I went home and got online and saw that curry's had a bigger version, with a better processor more powerful one than the one I'd seen, and was made exclusively for Curry's. . Long story short, I turned it on, loaded battlefield 2042 on my Xbox Series X, made sure the settings were 120 frames (120Hz) a second in 4K. The game loaded me in. My mouth fell open. As a sniper, because of the pixel quality, I can see people moving around in undergrowth, on the other side of the map. I'd say my TV definitely gives me an edge when playing online. And there my mouth sat for the best part of the next 2 hours. It doesn't matter what you throw at it, the picture quality is flawless. No motion blur. Just smooth picture, no lag when gaming, and movies look unreal. I now have to sit and watch scores of old movies again, just so I can sit and boast to my friends about how good my TV is.Trust me.......Its the best money you've ever spent on a TV. I give you my word on that 👍👊🫶🙏👌

I bought this tv a few months ago as I wanted great quality for gaming, and I am not disappointed, it’s also has crstal clear picture for films. I was an LG person but I’ll be buying Sony from Now on

After having Samsung for a number of years we decided to upgrade to Sony (based on excellent reviews by friends and backed up by salesman in store). We were really excited when the TV arrived and were extremely pleased with the quality. Unfortunately this only lasted 10 days. We turned on the TV and it would not come on. We had a red flashing light believed to be a power unit fault. The TV has been taken away by the retailer and we have been kindly provided with a display model until a replacement arrives. This may be a one off and just bad luck for us but not what we expected from a brand with the reputation Sony has.

So disappointed that I can't watch ITV live the way I could with my previous Samsung TV. It is only possible to watch catch up well after the program finished.

really happy just a shame it doesnt have headphone out jack.better than the lg one but a bit dearer proper chuffed

This TV seemed like a great buy, picture looked brilliant but it was the sound option that attracted me, I have a Yamaha RX6VA AV receiver with some Paradigm Prestige speakers and I wanted to use the Sony as a centre speaker as well, they make a big thing about the speakers being in the TV screen and it sounded exactly what I wanted. Little did I know that this option of using it as a centre speaker only works with certain Sony products!! its a has a 3.5m jack and not a speaker terminals, the cable even if you make it up will not work.., buy the more expensive version and you get the speaker connections, I have had to shell out on a Cambridge Audio mini speaker to make up for the lack of centre speaker...gutted

Would have been five stars if Google tv wasn’t crazy. I live in the uk but the tv suggests everything in Spanish. Tried every setting and every forum and it always reverts to Spain.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago great picture sound some difficulty in setting up as I wanted it also some difficulty in pairing both virgin and Sony remotes only half working on both

I have had several visits off repair people and the thing is still turning itself off. I always thought Sony would be top notch but I’m getting frustrated as typically I am getting fobbed off. £4600 I paid so you’d think they’d look after me and replace it? Ohhhh noooo. I wouldn’t buy again. Apparently it’s a common fault too but they still can’t fix it.

First Oled tv extremely pleased with the tv but not so much with the remote very small and not back lit no faults to complain about picture quality is out of this world.

Brilliant tv for the price everything you need in one place wouldn't ever change from a Sony now the sound is unbelievable and the quality when watching films is mega

We had this TV 8 months. We’re very happy with it but it stopped working one day. Sony repair were quick to act but unfortunately the screen has a crack in it and they deemed it accidental damage but the TV has stood in the same place since it was set up. No one has been near it except to dust. No Childers and no pets. There wasn’t any impact damage just a small arc crack. I’ve bought a replacement TV but it’s not a Sony. Sorry you’ve just lost a customer.

Great picture can see every detail when watching sport

Bought this around a month ago, delivered quickly well packed. Pleased with its performance. Bought the Sony wall bracket, not cheap but build quality and ease of fixing impressed.

We bought this TV in March, it stopped working in June and we are still waiting for a replacement.

I bought that Tv from wembley Sony center. It was refurbished. And now broken. No one helping me out about it. I call how many times customer service but no one care. ! Sony is the worst.

I bought this TV good big TV and now I have difficulty watching other one now! However, with a few miles on my clock I am having difficulty marching my Apple equipment. But my problem, with having a new TV 10 years I have not catch up with all!

Absolutely stunning with 4k content, great black levels and detail, love the motion smoothness (not for everyone). Big improvement on the clarity vs my 4k Projector and still big enough at 77 inches to have the impact

Originally purchased from AO. This is now our third replacement, we had issues with the first panel with fuzzy lines etc so they replaced with a second one, which was a new tv however with a few months we noticed a vertical line in the middle of the screen. Back to Sony and they arranged a replacement. However this was a second hand tv and within it being delivered it was blinking 4 red lights. We contacted the third party company who replaced it who said we need to speak to the manufacturer. Currently this is at a complaint with a Sony and AO. Waiting for an outcome.

We've had this a month now and it's so much better than our old 42 KDL Sony. We loved that one and it's gone in the dining room still working at 13 years old. But this one is so much better. Picture and sound are amazing. Sound is so different it takes a while to get used to but the bass and mix are really good.

I bought this, and from new it didn't work properly and now I'm having it repaired not replaced ... this is dragging on and on .... shame on both Currys and Sony. I have no confidence it'll work after the second engineer visit to repair. NOT HAPPY

I bought this OLED less than 3 months ago and fell in love Straight away. Highly recommended it. A noticeable difference from LCD to OLED which everyone must experience. The picture quality Is amazing .the sound quality is a true master piece and the total package this TV brings is worth the money.

Kids have said watching it is just like being in the cinema.

We got this as a warranty replacement for our A84J. Seems very similar but somehow not quite as impressive. Screen still looks fabulous. Slightly less ports I think and two new remote controls hat feel like they are less than the one for the 84j. Lots of good functionality similar to the previous model.

The TV is outstanding in terms of picture quality and the built in sound system. You’ll Really struggle to beat it at any price point. However the google software can be buggy. That’s nothing to do with Sony, that’s just the nature of android TV’s. It works fine most of the time, but you’ll get the occasional freeze where you have to restart the TV. Other than that, the TV is great. 4K 120 buttery smooth with outstanding colours and sharpness. Integration with PS5 is A1

Bought this for our new home it doesn’t overpower the space on the wall despite its size looks sleek. Picture quality is amazing as you would expect and sound makes you feel you are at the event etc

I bought this TV just before Christmas the sound and picture quality is very good (crisp and sharp), as well all the features. Easy to navigate through the features and apps. My only problem i have, is when it drops out of WiFi a large notification keeps appearing in the top left corner of the screen, telling me wifi disconnected then WiFi connected. Even if I'm watching blurays and normal TV. And I don't seem to able to turn it off. VERY ANNOYING. had to run in cable LAN for WiFi straight into TV.

It’s a great buy. Quality, functional integrates with PS5 for max frame rates, unique upscaling without banding…amazing speakers one might not even need additional speakers. Seamlessly integrates with google home etc….the list goes on and on…that’s me done for another 5yrs

Looked for a Sony as I have always judged their pictures to be the best. Great picture and sound quality, and sound shoots up and down quickly when pressing the vol button. Had to pick this model so the feet would fit my table - some are at the extremities and can’t be adjusted. Slightly too expensive compared with other makes.

Great TV but let down by Sony refusing to honour 5 year extended guarantee as item purchased from Costco

Shocking. Wasted my time and money going to and from currys 3 times to exchange a broken bravia for yet another damaged bravia. So I have returned the second broken TV and received a refund. I now have a much better LG TV that is not broken to start with!!

I bought the TV a couple of months ago and I just love it. Such a step up from the Samsung we had previously. The colours are rich but not overblown and once you have it 'tweaked' to your liking its awesome. Another winner from Sony at a great price.

Our new Sony tv is great picture is magnificent and sound very good easy to get around on really pleased with my puchace.

Installed my new Bravia A80K last night (a very simple install it was too - helped by the prompts on the screen.) The picture quality is awesome with real deep black and vivid colours. I was upgrading from an LG 55" LED 4K TV - which was working well and had a "good picture" - but after seeing the Sony OLED screen I realised just what I'd been missing ! I chose to not use the supplied feet, as I had a very good VESA stand which was simple to fit to the Sony (they supplied some stud mounts along with all the kit you'd need - including two remotes - the simpler of which is very intuative to use) Overall I am delighted with my choice and can thoroughly recommend the Sony XR-55A80K to anyone looking for a fairly priced OLED TV. :-)

This is a fantastic OLED TV which I purchased due to returning a faulty LG OLED TV. The Sony is by far a much better TV compared to the LG and works seamlessly with my PS5 console.

I read a few reviews and waited until I saw the 2021 model at the price point I wanted. It was really worth the wait- contrast and picture are first class. Sound is excellent but I will be investigating in a sound bar next.

Run off Android for TV, which forces you to have a Google account then shows you a first line of 'adverts' for shows you might want to watch on Pay TV channels you aren't subscribed for - for this price I want the TV to show me what I want to see, not to be a way for Google to advertise to me. Also good luck claiming the 'free' Extended Warranty - it's an absolute farce - took about 5 emails and 2 weeks to get them to correct all the mistakes in the process / documents (the final document still had mistakes in it). Will never buy Sony again.
