Wi-Fi Direct/Screen mirroring supported device cannot connect to BRAVIA.

How to confirm the permission of the device?

    IMPORTANT: Android TV™/Google TV™ released after 2020 do not support Screen mirroring function. Refer to the manual or specifications of the TV.

    Please check the following.

    1. Wireless devices, such as a router, cordless phone, wireless TV receiver, radio, wireless camera, Bluetooth device, or microwave, emit strong radio waves that may disrupt Wi-Fi Direct performance.
      We recommend these wireless devices be placed far from the TV and mobile phone while performing Wi-Fi Direct.
    2. Since the frequency of 2.4GHz has a lot of interference and noisy environment, packet collision will sometimes occur. Even though we have implemented noise-reducing countermeasure to improve the image quality, our TV software could not guarantee that there is no packet loss during transmissions.
    3. Perform a power reset on the TV.
    4. Confirm the permission status on Show Device List/Delete.
      If permission is Decline, please delete the registered device from the list and then register it again.
      • For Android TV/Google TV models:
        1. Open the  Settings screen. How to access Settings
        2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
          • Select Network & Internet or NetworkWi-Fi DirectShow Device List/DeleteDelete all.
          • Select NetworkWi-Fi DirectAdvanced settingsShow Device List/DeleteDelete all.
      • For other TV models:
        NOTE: The steps below use as an example. For details on operation method, refer to the manual supplied with the product.
        1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
        2. Select Settings.
        3. Select System Settings.
        4. Select Set-up.
        5. Select Network.
        6. Select Wi-Fi Direct Settings then press the OPTIONS button on the remote.
        7. Enter Show Device List/Delete then press OPTIONS and select All Delete.
    5. If there is new TV software available, please download the new software and update the TV.

    6. Try another mobile device or restart the device if the connection is lost or feel unsatisfied with the connection.
