BRAVIA does not appear on the screen of a Screen mirroring or Wi-Fi Direct compatible device.

    Check the following if BRAVIA is not displayed on the screen of your device that is compatible with either Screen Mirroring feature or Wi-Fi Direct feature:

    For devices that are compatible with Screen mirroring

    Make sure that the input of the TV is set to Screen Mirroring.


    • If Screen Mirroring is not shown in the input menu, your TV does not support Screen mirroring.

    • Connectivity with all Miracast compatible devices is not guaranteed.
    • The video quality may be degraded due to environmental interference.

    For devices that are compatible with Wi-Fi Direct

    • For Android TV™ and Google TV:
      For Android™ 8.0 or later, select Wi-Fi Direct Settings. For Android 7.0 or earlier, please check Wi-Fi Direct is set to On:
      1. Open the  Settings screen. How to access Settings
      2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Network & Internet — Wi-Fi Direct — Wi-Fi Direct Settings. (For Android 9 or later)
        • Select NetworkWi-Fi Direct — Wi-Fi Direct Settings. (For Android 8.0)
        • Select Network — Wi-Fi Direct — Wi-Fi Direct — set to On — Wi-Fi Direct Settings. (For Android 7.0 or earlier)
    • For other TV:
      Make sure that Built-in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct settings are set to On. These settings can be changed from the menu of the TV.

    If the steps above did not resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

    • For Android TV (or Google TV):
      NOTE: Android 8.0 or later does not have the following settings.

      If the TV is connected to the network by wired LAN, please change the connecting channel by following:
      1. Press the Home button on remote control and select Settings.
      2. Select Network in the NETWORK & ACCESSORIES category.
      3. Select Wi-Fi Direct.
      4. Select Advanced settings.
      5. Select Band setting.
      6. Select Manual.
      7. Select a Channel.
    • For other TV:
      1. Make sure the TV and wireless router (access point) are not connected using a 12 or 13 channel frequency. If the wireless channel is set to that frequency, BRAVIA will not appear on the compatible devices.
        NOTE: Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance with verifying this setting.
      2. Change the wireless channel frequency of your wireless router between 1 ch and 11 ch.
        NOTE: Refer to the manual of your wireless router for detailed information regarding how to change the wireless channel frequency.
