    Dear Valued Sony Customer,

Some customers may experience problems signing into their Skype account on some Sony BRAVIA® LCD TV models. An important update to Skype on Sony TVs will be made available in a few weeks. Unfortunately, in order to prepare for this update, Skype has had to temporarily disable users from signing in to Skype on some TVs. This is not a fault with the TV, and no other applications are affected but it is necessary to update the Skype application. Skype and Sony are working to update TVs with the new version of Skype as quickly as possible. The updated version will be released for the affected BRAVIA® LCD TVs shortly, at which point you will be able to sign in and use Skype as per normal.

For more details, please see the notice at https://www.skype.com/support.
