Enable the Audio Description feature on your BRAVIA TV

    Audio Description (video Description) is a feature that provides spoken narration that describes on-screen visuals and actions. This feature allows you to follow content to be enjoyed regardless of visual ability.
    Availability may vary depending on the TV station and the content.

    You can listen to a verbal description of the visual content based on your TV model and remote control.

    For models released in 2026

    If your remote control has a CC/AD button

    If your remote control has a CC/AD button, you can use it to enable Audio Description.
    Note: By default, the CC/AD button functions as the CC key. To use it as the AD key, refer to the instructions in How to set the CC button to Audio description on your Google TV™.

    If your remote control does not have a CC/AD button

    To turn on Audio Description:

    1. On the remote control, press the three dots [...] button.
    2. Select Audio.
    3. Select your preferred audio.

    For models released in 2025 or earlier

    There is an AUDIO button on your remote control

    To enable a verbal description of the visual content:

    1. On the remote control, press the AUDIO button.
    2. Select an audio option labeled AD (for example, Audio2 AD or English AD).

    Note: The availability, applicability, and specifications of this feature depend on the TV program and your country or region.

    There is no AUDIO button on your remote control

    Turn the Audio Description (video description) feature ON and OFF:

    1. On the remote control, press the MENU button.
    2. Select Audio.
    3. Select OK, then select your preferred audio (language).
