How to set up and use the Wi-Fi Direct feature of the 2013 and 2014 TV models

To set up and use the Wi-Fi Direct feature, follow the steps below.

1. Enable the Built-in Wi-Fi setting on your TV.

   1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. Select Settings.
      NOTE: The image below is an example of the 2014 TV model. 

      

   3. Select System Settings or Network.

      NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.

   4. Select Setup.
   5. Select Wi-Fi Setup.
   6. Select Built-in Wi-Fi or Built-in Wireless LAN.

      

   7. Select ON.
       

2. Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct setting of the TV.

   1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select System Settings or Network.

      NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.

   4. Select Setup.
   5. Select Wi-Fi Setup.
   6. Select Wi-Fi Direct.

      

   7. Select ON.
       

3. Display the WPA key of the TV.

   1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select System Settings or Network.

      NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.

   4. Select Setup.
   5. Select Wi-Fi Setup.
   6. Select Wi-Fi Direct Settings.

      

   7. Press the Options button.

      

   8. Select Manual.

      

   9. Select Other Method.

      

      NOTE: The SSID and the WPA key will be displayed on the TV screen.

      

   10. On the Wi-Fi setting of the Wi-Fi Direct device, select the SSID of the TV and enter the WPA key displayed on the TV screen as the password.
