    • A forced Factory data reset can only be done on TVs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher operating system installed.
    • This procedure may require two people.
    • If you can access the TV menu, perform a Factory data reset instead.
    • Depending on which TV model you have, the location of the buttons will vary. Check your manual for model-specific information.

    Perform a forced factory reset

    1. Unplug the AC power cord (mains lead) from the electrical socket.
    2. Simultaneously press and hold down the Power Image and volume Down (-) buttons Image on the TV (not on the remote), and then (while holding the buttons down) plug the AC power cord back in.
Continue to hold the buttons down until the green LED light appears.
NOTE: It will take approximately 10-30 seconds for the LED light to turn green.

      [B]: Volume Down (-) button
      * Press down softly on the [VOL-] button, as pressing firmly may cause the process to be interrupted.
    3. Release the buttons after the green LED light appears.

      • Disregard what is happening on the TV screen.
      • If the white LED light doesn't turn green within 30 seconds, start from Step 1 again.
    4. If the Welcome setup screen appears, quickly go through the setup procedure.
      • Do not sign in to your Google Account.
      • Skip the network setup.
      • Skip the channel setup.
NOTE: If the Welcome setup screen doesn't appear, unplug the AC power cord and then plug it back in.
    5. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
    6. Select Settings.
    7. Select Storage & reset in TV category.
    8. Select Factory data reset.
    9. Select Erase everything.
    10. Perform the setup at the Welcome screen.
NOTE: If the Welcome setup screen doesn't appear, unplug the AC power cord and then plug it back in.

If the forced Factory data reset didn't resolve the issue, perform the reset again.
