How do I update pre-installed apps such as Netflix or YouTube™? (Android TV™)
If the Google Play Store app is set to Auto-update apps at any time (default), apps pre-installed in the TV are generally updated automatically.
Check the settings using the following procedure.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:

Apps — Google Play Store — Settings — Auto-update apps — Auto-update apps at any time. (Android™ 8.0 or later)
- Select Google Play Store — Settings — Auto-update apps — Auto-update apps at any time. (Android 7.0 or earlier)
