Soundbar stops working after updating a BRAVIA TV to Android 14

Android 14 introduces updates to HDMI behavior design to improve audio performance and system security.
In some cases, these changes may affect compatibility with certain older soundbars, which can result in a loss of audio output.

Temporary solution

• Try switching the TV’s audio output to Optical (SPDIF) or Bluetooth, if your soundbar supports these connection methods.
• It's also recommended to check with the soundbar manufacturer for any available firmware updates that may improve compatibility with Android 14.
