How to adjust the date and time on an Android TV™ or Google TV™

IMPORTANT: This article applies to Android TVs and Google TVs. For TVs other than Android TVs (2016 models or later) or Google TVs, refer to the How to adjust the date and time (other than Android TV) article.

The date and time are usually set automatically because the BRAVIA TV retrieves the date and time information from the broadcast signals or the network. If there are no broadcast signals or network connections available you may need to set the date and time manually.

Set the date and time automatically:

    1. Check the Automatic date & time setting

With the TV receiving a broadcast signal or connecting to the network, follow these steps to check the setting:

    1. Open the Settings screen. How to access Settings
    2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
      • Select SystemDate & timeAutomatic date & time.

    3. Set Automatic date & time to ON, Use broadcast time or Use network time (Use network-provided time).
      Notes:
      • The available options can vary depending on the TV.
      • For W8K, X74K and X75K series, the TV retrieves the Date and Time from the network only.
      • If your TV has the Time synchronization setting in Date & time, set it to Use broadcast provided time or Use network-provided time.

    2. Check the Time Zone setting

If the time is not displayed correctly, there is a possibility that the Time Zone setting is not correct. Follow these steps to check the setting:
