Which audio systems support the A/V sync setting when connected via an HDMI cable?

List of specific audio systems that are supported by the A/V sync setting.

    IMPORTANT: This article only applies to specific products and/or operating systems. Please check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article.

    For the following models, when the A/V sync setting is set to Auto, the TV adjusts the audio and video timing based on the audio system. For other audio systems, even if you set A/V Sync to Auto, the TV will provide a fixed amount of adjustment as if A/V Sync were set to On.

    Currently, the following models are supported:

    Notes:

    • To set A/V sync to Auto:
      1. Open the Settings screen.
      2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
        • Select Display & SoundAudio outputAudio system settingsA/V sync → Auto.
        • Select Display & SoundAudio outAudio system settingsA/V sync → Auto.
        • Select Display & SoundAudio outputA/V sync → Auto.
        • Select SoundA/V sync → Auto.
    • The AV Sync feature can be used when outputting the TV's audio signal from a soundbar/home theater system via an ARC/eARC connection.
