The Google TV Home screen keeps loading or flickering and cannot be used.
To resolve this condition, please try the following recovery steps:
- Unplug the TV’s AC power cord, then plug it back in.
- Clear the Google TV Home app data by following:
Go to [Quick Settings] > [Settings] > [Apps] > [See all apps] > [Show system apps] > [Google TV] > [Clear data] > OK. - Press the Home button to exit the settings menu.
- At the Home screen, please wait at least 30 seconds before operating the TV.
(The Home screen may temporarily appear greyed out)
Note: This issue originates from the Google Home TV application and is not specific to Sony TVs. Sony is actively collaborating with Google to expedite a resolution for affected customers.
