Possible factors:
Several factors can cause the audio and video to go out of sync.
- If you're watching a TV program, the issue may be with the broadcast itself or a bad connection between your TV and the cable/satellite set-top box (if applicable).
- If a DVD or Blu-ray Disc® player is connected, a poor connection or the disc itself could be the cause.
- If the TV is connected to a home theater system using a digital optical cable, you may need to manually adjust the audio delay on the home theater system. A TV setting might also be responsible for the issue.
- If the TV is connected to a soundbar or home theater system using an HDMI or optical cable, the sound may be delayed due to audio processing delays within the soundbar or home theater system. In such cases, there are no issues with the TV speakers.

Common troubleshooting
Each step below offers a potential solution. We recommend checking if the issue is resolved after completing each step.
- Make sure your TV has the latest system software (firmware) installed.
Note: Refer to this article for the update procedure: How to perform a software update. - If you're watching a TV program, try changing the channel.
Note: If the issue only occurs on one channel, the problem is likely with the broadcast. Contact the broadcast network provider. - Make sure all cables are securely connected to the TV and source devices (e.g. set-top box, DVD player, home theater system, game console).
- Try a different video source to see if the issue occurs with other connected devices.
- If your TV has a Game Mode setting, adjust it as follows:
- Set the Game Mode to Off when watching TV or playing a DVD or Blu-ray Disc.
- Set the Game Mode to On when playing video games.
- Perform a power reset on the TV. For details, refer to the following:

Notes:- Audio delay adjustments usually range from 0 ms to approximately 250 ms.
- For more information on the A/V sync or Audio Delay setting, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the product.
