What is the Map application and how do I use it in Windows 8?

The Map application is a Microsoft preinstalled application that allows you to find the places that you’re looking effeciently.

1. From Start screen, launch Charms by placing the cursor on the top right or bottom right hand corner.
    
2. Select Search.
   
3. Select Maps.
    
4. Select "Allow" if the "Can Maps use your location" dialog appears.
    
5. Maps will display your current location.
    
6. Right Click and you will see the following Options:
   • Show Traffic
   • Map style
   • My Location
   • Direction
   
7. Select Direction to obtain direction to a specific destination.
   
8. Input the address for Point A and Point B then press enter.
   
9. Directions are now displayed.
