Install

Details

1. Download the file to a temporary or download directory (Please note this directory for reference later).
2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click EP0000321151.msi.
3. Follow the instructions displayed in the installation wizard.
4. After installation is completed, please restart the computer.

Important Note:

* If your PC has a "VAIO Recovery Center" instead of "VAIO Recovery Tool", this patch is not necessary.

* This patch is not necessary for Windows 8 Upgraded models.

* Please update this patch together with VAIO Care 8.4


To check if installation is successful:
1. Go to C:\ProgramFiles\Sony\VAIO Care Recovery\Version.txt
2. Version should indicate 1.1.1.13230.
