How to resolve when the IC recorder is not recognized by the computer?
IC recorder is not recognized by the computer.
Please check the following items.
- The IC recorder may not be recognized with a USB cable other than the supplied one. Please use the supplied USB cable.
- The IC recorder is connected to the USB connector of the computer correctly.
If the IC recorder cannot be connected correctly due to the computer structure, use the supplied USB connection support cable. - The computer system requirements are met.
- More than two USB devices are connected to a computer.
If more than two USB devices are being connected to a computer, normal operation will not be guaranteed. Connect only the IC recorder. - USB hub is used.
The operation with the USB hub is not guaranteed. Connect the unit to the computer directly or by the supplied USB connection support cable. - If the unit is connected to the computer under system standby or hibernation mode, it may not be recognized after it returns to normal operation mode.
In such case, remove the unit and connect it again. - If the unit is not recognized even after performing the above, it may be due to a connection error to the computer. Please check the connection with the steps below.
- Remove the IC Recorder from the computer and connect again.
- When the computer has two or more USB ports, connect the unit to another USB port.
- Remove the IC Recorder from the computer and restart the computer.

About the display on the computer
If the IC recorder is connected to the computer, it is recognized as follows.
Please make sure whether you are operating a different folder or not.
Windows computer
If the IC recorder is connected to the computer, it is recognized as an IC RECORDER drive in the My Computer.
Make sure the IC RECORDER drive is in the My Computer.
Macintosh computer
If the IC recorder is connected to the computer, a IC RECORDER drive is displayed on the desk top.
Make sure the IC RECORDER drive is on the desk top.
