Can high-definition (HD) videos be burned to a standard DVD with the PlayMemories Home software?
HD videos recorded in the AVCHD format can be burned to a standard, recordable DVD with PlayMemories Home. MPEG-4 (MP4) files, however, are not supported for burning to a DVD.
NOTES:
- Steps to create a DVD Video disc are available on the PlayMemories Home Support web page.
- It may take a long time to burn a DVD with AVCHD-formatted video because the AVCHD video is first converted to the MPEG-2 format.
