Unable to connect to the network when I setup the connection via Music Center (SongPal) on an Apple mobile device.
When I use the incorrect password while setting up a Wi-Fi connection via Music Center(SongPal) on an Apple mobile device, the device becomes unable to connect to the network, even when I set up the connection again using the correct password.
Once you have used an incorrect password while setting up the Wi-Fi, a network connection cannot be made, even if you set up the connection again using the correct password.
Follow the steps below to reset the Wi-Fi setup.
- Turn off the system.
If the Standby indicator or the on/standby indicator is lit up orange, follow the instructions below to cancel BLUETOOTH/Network Standby mode before proceeding to the next step.
- CMT-SX7 and CMT-SX7B
- Keep the system turned on.
- From the MENU, change the BT/NW Standby setting to off.
- Turn off the system.
- Confirm that the Standby indicator is not lit.
- SRS-X99, SRS-X88 and SRS-X77
- Keep the system turned on.
- Hold down the power button to enter standby mode.
- Confirm that the on/standby indicator is not lit.
NOTE: If you want to return to BLUETOOTH/Network Standby mode, hold down the power button while the system is turned on, until the on/standby indicator turns orange.
- CMT-SX7 and CMT-SX7B
- Wait for 3 minutes.
- Turn the system back on, and make the Wi-Fi connection again.
NOTE: If you set up the system's Wi-Fi connection using Music Center (SongPal) from an Apple mobile device, confirm that the Apple mobile device is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi before proceeding with the setup.
