    How to use the Content Adviser?

    Contents Adviser allows user to hide any web pages of inappropriate contents such as languages, pornography, sex and violence by setting the rating level of the contents.

    Follow the steps below to enable Content Advisor:
    1. Right-click Internet Explorer and click Properties.
    2. Click the Content tab and click Enable.
    3. Click OK.
    4. In the Password text box, type in a password. Type in the same password in the Confirm Password text box. (Remember the password that is being set. System recovery is required if the password is forgotten.)
    5. Click OK.


    Follow the steps below to change the password:
    1. Right-click Internet Explorer and click Properties.
    2. Click the Content tab and click Settings.
    3. Enter the password and click OK.
    4. Click the General tab and click Change Password.
    5. In the Old password text box, enter the old password.
    6. In the Password text box, type in a password. Type in the same password in the Confirm Password text box. (Remember the password that is being set. System recovery is required if the password is forgotten.)
    7. Click OK.


    Follow the steps below to set the rating level of the contents:
    1. Right-click Internet Explorer and click Properties.
    2. Click the Content tab and click Settings.
    3. Enter the password and click OK.
    4. Click the Ratings tab. From Languages, Pornographies, Sex and Violence, click to select the preferred categories.
    5. Use the slider to set the appropriate content levels for each of the selected category. The default level of each category is set to 0.


    Follow the steps below to disable Content Advisor:
    1. Right-click Internet Explorer and click Properties.
    2. Click the Content tab and click Disable.
    3. Enter the password and click OK.
    4. When the message Content advisor has been turned off. appears, click OK.


    * Note
    Even if Contents Advisor is enabled, restricted pages can still be browsed.
    Contents Advisor implemented to Internet Explorer as a standard component currently relies on the service of RSACi (Recreational Software Advisory Council rating service for Internet).
    All the sites are not rated automatically.
