Why are the images displayed on the external display distorted when the resolution is set to SXGA+?
The images displayed on the external display are distorted when the resolution is set to SXGA+.
Please refer to the following to resolve this symptom:
1. Make sure that the external device used can accept SXGA+ signal.
* Change to other available resolution signal (UXGA or SXGA) on the computer to suit the acceptance signal of the device.
2. Even if the external device is capable of using SXGA+, compatibility issues may occur.
* Change the display resolution size on the VAIO computer.
3. If the display is distorted on the upper left portion, it is due to limitations in using SXGA+ resolution.
