Why does Outlook Express display a message and the attached file of an incoming mail cannot be saved?

    Err Msg: The attached file was deleted as its security cannot be checked.

    This symptom occurs as the e-mail security was set not to receive any attached file.

    To resolve this symptom, follow the steps below to change the e-mail security settings.
    1. Start Outlook Express.
    2. From the Tools menu, click Options.
    3. Click the Security tab and disable the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. option.
    4. Click OK.
