How to change the mode of the printer port?
Some printers are not able to support ECP and EPP.
The printer port mode of the VAIO computer is pre-set to ECP.
Please refer to the steps below to change the mode of the printer port:
1. Turn on the computer. When the Sony logo appears, press F2.
2. Highlight the Advanced option using the arrow keys, select Parallel Port and press Enter.
3. Highlight the Mode option using the arrow keys, change to EPP or Output Only.
4. Press Esc twice. Select Exit (Save Changes) and press Enter twice.
