Where is the reset switch located?

Note: Pressing the reset switch while the system is in operation may destroy the data created.
Please refer to your user manual for the exact location of the reset switch.

For the actual position of the reset switch (a hole about 1mm to 2mm in diameter), please refer to the list below for some of the models:
PCG-C1 series: At the base of the machine, right underneath the left button of the pointer

PCG-C1X and PCG-C1V series: Underside of the computer, near the battery connector

PCG-C1M series: Near the memory slot cover on the underside

PCG-F series: Near the release lever of the floppy disk drive at the base of the machine

PCG-FX series: Near the release lever of the floppy disk drive at the base of the machine

PCG-GR series: At the base of the machine, close to the memory cover

PCG-N505 series: Near the center of the base of the machine

PCG-NV series: Near the memory slot cover on the underside

PCG-R505 series: At the base of the machine, right underneath the touch pad

PCG-XE and PCG-SR series: There isn't any reset switch.

PCG-Z505 series: At the base of the machine, right underneath the touch pad
