What is a JEITA measuring standard?
About JEITA measuring standard.
JEITA stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).
JEITA measuring standard is based on the following conditions:
1. Screen saver: None.
2. Switch off the Wireless LAN switch.
3. Volume control: Mute.
4. Turn off the Windows automatic updates.
5. Close all windows that are currently opened.
Common settings in Control Panel → Power Options
* Power Plan
Select Power saver
Go to Change plan settings
1. Dim the display -> Never
2. Turn off the display -> Never
3. Put the computer to sleep -> Never
Go to Change plan settings-Change advanced power settings
Sleep
Sleep after
On battery -> Never
Battery
Low battery notification
On battery -> Off
Low battery action
On battery -> Do nothing
JEITA Measuring Method A:
* Display Brightness
Change the brightness level to 2 with Fn & F5 or F6 key.
or
* Go to Control Panel-Power Options-Change plan settings-Change advanced power settings-Display Brightness
Change the brightness level to 13%.
JEITA Measuring Method B:
* Display Brightness
Change the brightness level to 10 with Fn & F5 or F6 key.
or
* Go to Control Panel-Power Options-Change plan settings-Change advanced power settings-Display Brightness
Change the brightness level to 5%.
