    or
The contents in the "Favorites" menu have reduced.

This symptom is due to the "Favorites" menu of Internet Explorer 5.50 ceasing to display items which are less frequently used. The same theory applies to the menu of Office 2000 as well as the Start menu of Windows 2000.

To cancel the above function, follow the procedures below:

    1. Boot "Internet Explorer" from "Start"-"Programs".

    2. Click "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.

    3. Uncheck the "Enable Personalized Favorite Menu" box in the "Browsing" section of the "Advanced" tab.

    4. Click "OK" to save the new settings and restart Internet Explorer.

This symptom occurs in Internet Explorer Ver. 5.00.2920.000 and its newer versions.
