What is JEITA measuring standard?

    Measuring conditions based on JEITA Measuring Methods for Battery Operating Time (Ver.1.0).

    JEITA stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).

    JEITA measuring standard is based on the following conditions.

    Settings:
    1. Screen saver: None.
    2. Volume control: Mute.
    3. Switch off the Wireless LAN function.
    4. Built-in Camera and Built-in Modem Off.
    5. Set up PowerPanel settings as bellow:
    Copy the Ultimate Battery Life profile and perform the following settings.

    JEITA Measuring Method A
    1. Disable the Hibernation on Low Battery option.
    2. Disable the Standby Timer option of the system.
    3. Disable the Standby Timer option of the LCD (Video).
    4. Set LCD Brightness to Level 2.
    5. Set the Built-in Camera option to Power Off.
    6. Set the Built-in Modem option to Power Off.

    JEITA Measuring Method B
    1. Disable the Hibernation on Low Battery option.
    2. Disable the Standby Timer option of the system.
    3. Disable the Hibernate Timer option of the system.
    4. Disable the Standby Timer option of LCD (Video).
    5. Set LCD Brightness to Level 1.
    6. Set Built-in Camera option to Power Off.
    7. Set Built-in Modem option to Power Off.
