    How to start and finish DVgate Still from PictureGear Ver.4.*.










    The startup and finish operation of DVgate Still from PictureGear Ver.4.* has been changed from DVgate Still Ver.2.0.

    Please note that, on VAIO to which DVgate Still Ver.2.0 is installed, the startup and finish operation of DVgate Still from PictureGear Ver.4.* has been changed.

    Please check the version of DVgate Still and follow the next procedures.

    - In the case of DVgate Still Ver.1.4 and older

    Click "File"- "Connect to Device"- "DVgate Still" of PictureGear Ver.4.*.

    - How to start - 2
    Right-click "DVgate Still"in "Devices" from "Device" in "Tree View" of PictureGear Ver.4.*, and click "Connect".

    - How to finish
    When you try to finish DVgate Still in the state of "Connection" between PictureGear Ver. 4.* and DVgate Still (the state that DVgate Still is started from PictureGear Ver.4.*), the following message appears and you cannot finish DVgate Still.
    "Cannot shutdown DV gate Still. Please shutdown PictureGear first."

    Right-click "DVgate Still" in "Devices" from "Device" in "Tree View" of PictureGear Ver.4.* and click "Disconnect" to finish "Connection" between PictureGear Ver.4.* and DVgate Still first, and then finish DVgate Still.

    - In the case of DVgate Still Ver.2.0

    - How to start
    Right-click "DVgate Still" in "Capture" form "Device" in "Tree View" of PictureGear Ver.4.* and click "Start DVgate Still".

    - How to finish
    You can finish DVgate Still directly.
