When typing " or ~ character do not appear until next character is input.
When typing, the ~ or " character do not appear on the screen until another key is entered. When the next key is entered, both show normally including the next character that was entered.
Check the type of keyboard selected in the control panel KEYBOARD properties on the Language tab. This problem can occur if the keyboard is set to US International. Please correct the problem by selecting United States 101 Keyboard
