Why does the brightness setting of the LCD return to the previous setting after closing the Battery Information dialog box?
The brightness of the LCD is adjusted with the Fn + F5 keys. The PowerPanel dialog box showing the battery information is being opened and then closed. The brightness setting of LCD returns to the previous setting level.
The Battery Information dialog box shown by double-clicking the PowerPanel icon is also controlling the Power Profile dialog box.
Therefore, closing the Battery Information dialog box by clicking OK will reset the settings.
To maintain the settings, click Cancel to close the dialog box.
