IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Extension of Energy Star Label Period for Colour Television w.e.f. 1st January 2021
Dear Valued Sony Customer,
The Government of India has notified Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Colour Televisions) Regulations, 2016 (“Regulations”) under the Energy Conservation Act, 2001. The Regulations came into force on May 26, 2016. Under the Regulations, Energy Star label inter-alia displays label period.
Bureau of Energy Efficiency has extended the Energy Star Label period for 1 year i.e. the validity of energy star label has been revised as 01st Jan 2019 to 31st Dec 2021.
There is no change in the product specifications. The Annual Energy Consumption (AEC) of the product will remain same and with effect from 1st January 2021, revised labels with extended label period will be in-force.
