Android TV™ software update information

    Updated: 2 July 2019

We’re pleased to announce that the automatic update to Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ will be rolling out to eligible TVs over the coming weeks.

The recommended way to receive this update is by ensuring that the Automatic software download setting on your TV is turned ON. Your TV should then receive the update automatically, in the coming weeks.

Alternatively, you can download the firmware from your TV model’s product page on the support site from mid July 2019, and update your TV using a USB flash memory device.

Please see below for additional information and frequently asked questions about this update.

We thank you for your patience and hope you will enjoy Android™ 8.0 Oreo™.
