USB

Q1. Contents stored in the USB memory are not recognized by the unit.
A1. The USB memory's contents may exceed the number of folders or contents that the unit can recognize.
Confirm the maximum number of folders/contents that the unit can recognize from the following chart.

Q2. The currently playing song is not highlighted on the list screen of USB.
A2. The currently playing song is not highlighted on the list screen of USB due to the specifications of the unit.
NOTE: The currently playing song is highlighted on USB1.

Q3. The contents are displayed in a different order when I insert the same USB memory into USB1 and USB2.
A3. USB1 and USB2 are able to recognize different contents, so even if you insert the same USB memory into USB1 and USB2, the order of the contents may differ.
NOTE: This unit has no option to change how contents are sorted.

Q4. I cannot play video or audio contents on USB.
A4. There may be contents on the USB memory in a format not supported by the unit. When the unit attempts to play contents that are not supported, this affects the next playback contents as well. Try deleting the unsupported contents before playing again. See the unit's operating instructions for the USB formats supported by the unit.
NOTE: Video playback is not possible with USB2 because it does not support video contents.

Navigation

Q1. The navigation icon of the external navigation system connected to the unit is not shown on the screen.
A1. If you are connected to a third-party external navigation system, the navigation icon is not shown on the unit's screen. The navigation systems of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported.

Android Auto and CarPlay

Q1. The Bluetooth setting is disabled during CarPlay connection, and I cannot change the setting.
A1. The Bluetooth setting is not available during CarPlay connection. Try changing the Bluetooth setting after ending CarPlay connection.

Q2. I cannot use Apple CarPlay, Android Auto.
A2. Try rebooting your smartphone. Try using a different cable to connect your smartphone and the unit and see if the issue is resolved.
NOTE: If you are using a long cable, try switching to a shorter one.

Others

Q1. The unit is in demo mode and I cannot disable it.
A1. Check the following method to disable demo mode on the unit.

  1. Press the Home button to display the Home screen.
  2. Swipe the icon on the bottom of the screen to the right.
  3. Touch the Settings icon.
  4. Touch General.
  5. Open Demo and set it to OFF.

Q2. I cannot find the SOURCE or Setting Menu icons.
A2. Try the following if you cannot find the SOURCE or Setting Menu icons that you want to use.

  1. Press the Home button to display the Home screen.
  2. Swipe the icon on the bottom of the screen to the right.
