Important Information on AVCHD Camcorders

For AVCHD Camcorders:

Note on playing back a AVCHD format disc recorded by AVCHD camcorder or supplied software Picture Motion Browser

You cannot playback a disc recorded with HD (high definition) image quality (AVCHD format) on DVD players/recorders as they are not compatible with the AVCHD format. Also, if you insert a disc recorded in the AVCHD format into those devices*, you may not be able to eject the disc from the device. Also, once you have inserted a disc recorded in the AVCHD format into those devices, you may not be able to playback or record on the disc with your camcorder properly.
 
* For Sony DVD players released in 1999 and 2000.

Important Note of Picture Motion Browser

The supplied software does not fully reproduce HD (high definition) image quality. Even in a computer environment which satisfies system requirements, you may find dropped frames, sound interruptions, or noises while playing back movies with HD (high definition) image quality. However, imported images and images on discs created subsequently will not be affected.

Notice of software conflict:

The supplied PMB(Picture Motion Browser) includes Sonic writing engine and UDF Reader. Some conflict issues have been confirmed between this software and the following writing software:

• Adaptec/Roxio UDF Reader
• Adaptec/Roxio Easy CD Creator
• OrionStudios DirectDVD
• Nero Burning Rom
