The TV feels too warm or hot to the touch.

    It is possible the LCD TV may feel warm or hot to the touch after several hours of use. Because LCD TVs are thin and the cabinet enclosure is relatively small, heat generated by the LED backlight located at the bottom or side of the TV is more noticeable. The warm temperature is normal operation and should not be a cause for concern. This does not indicate a defect nor does it affect the reliability or life of the product.

    As with all electronics product, ensure the TV has sufficient ventilation to avoid causing it to overheat. In addition, please change the Picture mode from Vivid to Standard or decrease the Brightness to reduce power consumption and produce less heat.

    To Change the Picture mode from Vivid to Standard:

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Display in the TV category.
    4. Select Picture.
    5. Select Picture mode.
    6. Select Standard.

    To Change the Brightness;

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Display in the TV category.
    4. Select Picture.
    5. Select Brightness and adjust lower the brightness level.

    NOTE: Please use the TV within the temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F), and avoid exposing the TV to direct sunlight.
