Unable to complete a software update or the software update is taking a long time.

    Downloading a software update requires a stable high-speed Internet connection. Completion of an update may be slow or may not complete due to the Network condition. Either of the following options are available to help avoid having to wait for an update to be completed:

    • Download the software update from this website using a computer and install them manually using a USB device. Downloads are posted on your model support page.
    • Set the Automatic software download setting to On from the menu of the TV.

      NOTE: The Automatic software download setting will allow the TV to automatically download new updates while in standby mode.

      For Android TV™ (except for A9G, X85G (55/65/75/85), X95G, Z9G, A9F, and Z9F series)

      1. Press the HELP button on the remote control.
      2. Select System software update.
      3. Select Automatic software download, then set to On.

      For other than Android TV 

      1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Customer Supports.
      4. Select Automatic software download, then set to On.
