This is a gem of a lens. It's really small, and really sharp. Autofocus is faultless. I bought it to downsize from the 16-35GM, as I realised I use that lens almost always at 16mm. I'm looking forward to using the 16 f1.8G for wide field astro photograpy as soon as the cloudy skies clear.

No Case included! At that price! What a rip off!

Got the lens today (late) and was surprised, nay shocked, to see to case included. For the price charged that is 'poor from' from Sony. What a rip off.
