This lens is absolutely awesome, the optical stabilisation is fantastic, the 1:4 magnification is out of this world and the size and weight are brilliant.

already got the 90mm macro . but this is clearly a step up . side by side comparison done . better features than the 90mm .image quality if im honest not much difference

This is a worthy upgrade from the 90mm macro. A super sharp lens and having the ability to use the teleconverters... Absolute game-changer.

Bought this 2 weeks ago absolutely thrilled with this lens I would recommend the lens to anyone who’s into macro it’s a game changer.

Incredible in every way but most amazing is how I was able to hand hold in low light at 40ss and get 1.4x macro on a water droplet tack sharp. The face I can use this for macro and also for shooting action with my husky is a game changer. Thankyou Sony 💜

I bought this couple of weeks ago. I took some flower photos at home. The lens is fantastic sharp , contrasty. Fast focussing. I paired with Sony A1.
